- County Manager: Scott Elliott, 902-2950. The manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of board policies and directives. He also serves as budget officer and oversees the budget, which supports more than 20 departments and agencies.
- Deputy County Manager/human services: John Bulow, 902-2953.
- Clerk to the Board: Susan Banks, 902-2952. E-mail: pittboardclerk@co.pitt.nc.us. The clerk is responsible for creating, coordinating and maintaining a permanent record of commissioners' actions. She advertises and processes citizen applications to serve on county-appointed boards and committees.
- Deputy clerks: Trish Staton and Kimberly Woodard, 902-2951, 902-2950.
- Public Information Office: Director Thomas Lynch serves as public information specialist: 902-2955, e-mail: pittinfo@co.pitt.nc.us. The public information officer serves as a communications liaison between residents, county staff and elected officials by disseminating information about county programs, services and activities. Lynch also serves as the county cable services coordinator.
